opeth has some pretty good songs but overall im gonna have to with bloodbath ::finger::finger::finger

Opeth... they've been around longer, have released many more albums, and are more versatile in their songwriting.

That said, I absolutely love Bloodbath. Especially RTC and UTP. I didn't care so much for TFM.

I listen to Bloodbath a lot more then Opeth. I wish Bloodbath would do more then one show ever though.

I used to like Opeth but somewhere along the line they got a bit too artsy and avante garde and I find their lat several albums on the boring side, kind of hard too listen to.

Resurrection through carnage is one of the best albums of this decade... Mikael work with Opeth is great, however bloodbath owns

I felt the same about TFM after the first listen.... It's grown on me. Its not as epic as the other two, however its still a solid album. Do you usually like an album on first listen, or do you usually grow into them?

Both have mikaels awesome death voice, but Opeths lyrics and overall music is more versatile than most out there
