We are the BLACKWOODS from Springville,Tn.We have been playing Extreme music since 1989.We started on cover songs like Metallica's"Seekn Destroy""4 Horsemen","AM I Evil""Master of Puppets"Slayer's"South of Heaven","Angel of Death","Post Mortem","Manditory Suicide", Celtic Frost's"Dethroned Emperor","Return to The Eve",Procreation of the Wicked",Motorhead's"Ace of Spades","Ironfist", Black Sabbath's "Children of the grave","War Pigs","Sabbath Bloody Sabbath","Into the Void","Lord of this World" St.Vitus'"Born too Late"& "Clear Window Pane',Jim Hendrix's"Purple haze" & "Voodoo Chile", and much more covers we play.Nowadays we play more originals though.Alot of the songs we play we came up with in the early to mid 90's.We also have some from 2000's also.We have had about 3 hiatus' since 1989 but have remained playing what we love in our hearts the most Extreme Heavy Metal & Grindcore.Fuck selling out to mtv's standards.We are currently looking for another bassist & vocalist.We have song titles and lyrics already so far for all our songs just need a full time vocalist.We are in the Henry County area of Tn.Below is some band pics & our myspace page with 3 rough live recordings plus 1 jam session video of 'Random Acts of Violence" on it.
