im asuming your getting a dean ml... If you are going for the dimebucker i may redirect to Bill Lawrence Xl-500 pickups. They are cheaper and from what i hear are better than the dimebuckers.

well ill just look around. i even asked my guitar teacher bout it. but ill look those up too. but on your list i'd probebly go with the mustaine pickups cuz he said that both them and the dimebuckers allows good output but if you do get the dave mustaine pickups you'll have to find out how the system works for actives. he told me about them and the way you work the tone knob is different plus it has like its own battery.il'd go with the dimebuckers but ill look up the Bill Lawrence pickups.thnx

I've never tried those other ones. But I have to say my EMG's treat me real nice.

Hmmm, since I have an LTD Alexi-600 I only have one EMG HZ-H4 passive humbucker in bridge position, but I'm not going to change it, it's just as screamy as I like it... My next guitar is maybe going to have some Live Wires in it or something...

Personally, I like the sound of EMG 85/81's over any other pickup that I've EVER played with. Unless we're talking seven strings, but even then, i still prefer the sound of EMG pickups in those too.

EMG-81 is the best. the dimebucker is nice, but it gives ridiculous feedback
