Let me ask you something......
Do you think the quality of Ozzfest had degraded for the fans?
The music is always good, but it seems to me that back in '97, Security actually provided security instead of looking to hurt people, and people could have lighters and smoke outside after shows.
I've been to every Ozzfest, excluding the last one. I think it's becoming more about an Image and generating revenue than really providing a fun, music-filled environment for fans and musicians alike to come and mosh it up. Regardless of how the festival degrades, i will still go and have a great time, that's what it's about, but it's hard when the sense of camaraderie has died amougst people who not only attend the fest, but who run it.
