many of our metal head citizens look forward to this every year.we just captured osama bin laden we are in economic crisis and the people need an fun outlet to let the doldrom we've been caught in a chance to get the air stirring in our hearts. the american people deserve access to all the ozzfests. im some one who has been supporting heavy metal and its various counter parts since i was but a boy, for ozzfest not to happen in the states truly hurts its fans especially the ones who've been supporting the scene since they were children, with conviction and pride. please dont take that away from the american people. what you do for the people is so important, so much more than an outlet, for some its a way of life and worship the tunes coming out of the stacks of amps. i cant imagine missing a ozzfest especially if its bc its in europe. of all yrs the people need this. we love you ozzy and sharon but we the people really need ozzfest in america. please if one of you read this give it some thought, we will be devastated if not, but know we will always support the musicans and respect your descions. sincerely your fans. old666man

wow i was soo looking forward to ozzfest. it wouldve been my first 1 ive ever went to. i was guna go last year but my ***** of a sister gave my ticket to 1 of her friends so i didnt get to go and she promised me i could go this year. ozzy is my hero and all i wanted to do was see ozzfest 2011. im glad hes touring his hometown and everything but i really was looking forward to going..

Why not Ozzfest?

I don't see a problem with no U.S. summer dates for Ozzy but why can't his tour in Europe be called OZZFEST? It is the Ozzfest brand and name that is hurt by "canceling" it. Wouldn't it make more sence to continue to advertise the name and brand more constantly. Like the year there was only 1 Ozzfest show it made the anticipation of the next tour all the greater. If Ozzfest was only in Europe this summer wouldn't that make for greater anticipation of it making its way back to the USA. Eventually there will be no more Ozzy but his fest could last forever.

2008: One day in Texas 2009: No Ozzfest 2010: Mini Ozzfest with 6 stops 2011: No Ozzfest I am seeing a trend here. Even though Ozzy is one of my heroes, I hate to say it but Ozzfest is pretty much done or on its last thread of life. Mayhem lineup isn't that great this year. I look forward to metal festivals every year, more Ozzfest than any concert every year. I have no option than to go to crappy Mayhem who only features Hot Topic bands. I was seriously saving up right now to get a VIP ticket pass which I have never done before. Now I cant anymore. Since there's no Ozzfest this summer, hopefully the off season will bring in a better Ozzfest in 2012...if there ever will be one. Id rather have no birthday party day just to go to Ozzfest. Ozzfest is also like X-mas to me! Well this is gonna be a ****** summer...bye Ozzfest. :((
